I have said this before but I really love the variety of work that my clients throw at me! My background as a News and Entertainment Photographer gave me a great training ground, where I learned my craft and it means that there is very little that I haven’t photographed before! As a London Events Photographer there is so many different types of events out there over the past few years I have the opportunity to work as an London Immersive Experience Photographer. There is so many events offering this, in this occasion it was aa Charity Ball Gala Dinner themed as Disco Friday Night Fever (That’s correct! It wasn’t Saturday as it was held on a Friday!)

So the Immersive experience was around a Disco themed dinner were you could chat and have your picture taken with Elton John impersonator or event sign along with him while he played the piano. Andy Warhol impersonator will take your picture or you will be dancing on stage with John Travolta, David Bowie, Bianca Jagger and Blondie.
I was a great evening raising funds for The Railway Charity held at the Intercontinental O2 Hotel in North Greenwich. My brief involved photographing the actors backstage this type of Behind the Scenes Photography that I truly love and that I have done in numerous occasions – you can have a look here at another case study of my work as a Behind the Scenes Photographer.
As well as the performance the actors mixed with the guest during the drinks reception this created great opportunities for spontaneous and natural event photography which I am an expert at capturing by blending into the crowd and becoming almost invisible!

Once the dinner draw into a close the after party started where guest took into the stage and dance the night away until the early hours!
