Last week I was asked if I could attend one of my clients offices in Canary Wharf to take a large group photograph. As a London corporate photographer you can often find me in Canary Wharf and in The City of London, capturing headshots, business portraits, meetings, round tables, breakfast events and a long etc.

The assignment took one hour, I had to set up and wait for them to finish a conference that they were attending. I did a recce of the building and found some stairs right opposite a large window that I thought it will make thee perfect location for this large group photograph with over 100 people.

Once they finished for the day my client direct them to this location and I asked each of them to remove their name tags/lanyards as this will make them look untidy. Then I started to organise them over the stairs, making sure that no one was covering another person’s face, this is quite tricky and requires a very experienced photographer like myself as I have over 20 years of experience working as a professional photographer. Also it has to be quick as people don’t have the luxury of time these days and as well lets face it, it can get a bit boring while you are waiting for everyone to be arranged.
This picture was going to be printed and given the following day in the morning as a thank you to each of them, so they needed a quick turn around, something that I am used to and very happy to deliver images right away after the corporate photography session.
