This was my first time at this particular venue working as The Ivy Tower Bridge Event Photographer. As a Corporate Event Photographer I have worked in many different locations in London and in the Tower Bridge and London Bridge area – See here for a post of a previous Corporate Networking Drinks Reception in London Bridge- I was contacted to be The Ivy Tower Bridge Event Photographer of choice a couple of weeks ago, it was a corporate breakfast event hosted in one of their private dining rooms with the magnificent view of the iconic London landmark that is Tower Bridge!

This venue has forensic attention to detail, their exquisite branding makes it extremely photogenic. When photographing a corporate event, I endeavour to tell the story of the event, and I find that these pictures can help putting the event in context.
Breakfast Event Photographer – Tower Bridge Event Photographer
So the event started with some networking on arrival that I captured with my fly-on-the-wall technique. During this time my aim is to be almost invisible so I can capture attendees as they are engaged in conversation.
Followed by a sit-down breakfast where the main discussion and agenda of the event took place.
During this part I try to capture each attendee during their contribution and in a animated manner, moving their hands and engaging with the others as they enjoy their breakfast.
I also give them some space and I capture my event photography in between courses and avoid while they are actually eating – no one looks good while they are eating and I am aware that having the photographer hovering next to you while you are trying to eat can be quite uncomfortable. Besides, there is no need for that, with my over 20 years of experience working as a professional photographer I make the most of all the opportunities that the event will bring me!
I do also quite enjoy capturing those pictures out of brief, I believe I have forensic attention to detail, and I see those small things that might go unnoticed.
Oh! And please allow me one more time – let’s appreciate the views from this venue! You are treated not only to Tower Bridge but The City of London Skyline!
