As well as Corporate Events Photography I do Consumer Events Photography and I do work as a London Trade Show Photographer like in this occasion was a brilliant photographic opportunity as The Cycle Show has talks, panel discussions, exhibitors, demo zones, indoor and outdoor spaces – the photographic opportunities are endless. I applied here my action photography skills, a craft that I earned working as a press photographer at the beginning of my career as a professional photographer.
“I have worked with Carmen for a number of years now and always enjoy collaborating with her. Her approach to her work makes the team and our customers very at ease and as a result she always captures the perfect ‘natural’ moment of a customer entering a show or receiving our merchandise. Her warm personality means she gets on with everyone at our events and her keen eye for detail is really appreciated as we end up with fantastic shots that we can use in promotional material, guides and on social media.
Thank you for the fantastic work you do!”

London Trade Show Photographer at Ally Pally
The venue was Alexandra Palace, also known as Ally Pally, which is absolutely full of charm and is very picturesque. The vibe of the show was incredible, a dream for a trade show photographer, some people arrived by bike (as it seemed in keeping with the theme).

When photographing a Trade Show I try to capture it in the most natural way and photographing the customer journey – from people arriving and being handed the guides, fascinated about what is ahead of them for the day

London trade show photographer – Visitors look excited as they arrive to The Cycle Show in Ally Pally

There was talks in 2 theatres happening simultaneously and I wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing any of them as there was so much talent in the stage.

The room was really busy when ex-footballer and keen cyclist Ben Foster took to the stage

The Exhibition hall had a real buzz and customers were immersed in all things bike related

Talking to the different exhibitors

Entering competitions

And making purchases

When photographing the exhibitors as well as getting thee more formal shots I like to look for creative angles that could make some interesting photographs

There was a BMX zone where BMX legends were showcasing all their tricks

And also they were running workshops where children were learning the tricks from their idols

The show had as well and outdoor BMX track where customers could test their skills and watch some professional riders

When Photographing in a very busy environment where there is a lot going on quite often is the small details that catches your eye and makes great pictures

And also I really like to produce creative photographs out of the brief that quite often come as a pleasant surprise for the client like this one
