I have photographed large-scale events in huge, opulent London venues, but I have also photographed functions in small, intimate spaces. Regardless of where an event is held, the results are a true reflection of my strength: high-end, elegant, and vibrant photography.

In my London event photography work, I have covered a huge range of events over the course of my career, including numerous royal engagements. Other events include award ceremonies, lavish dinner receptions, and galas for businesses ranging from multinational corporations to small start-ups.

I love working to a brief and always make sure I deliver exactly what my clients have requested, although I also have a good eye for capturing spontaneous reactions to truly evoke the special moments and the passion behind each event. I have photographed drinks receptions in the most iconic London venues such as the Royal Automobile Club, the Institute of Contemporary Arts, Dartmouth House, The King’s Fund, and the US Ambassador’s residence Winfield House, which has the second largest private garden in London after Buckingham Palace.

I also regularly photograph drinks receptions at The Houses of Parliament with different organisations such as The Jo Cox Foundation, Railway Partners, Association of British Insurance to name a few, hosted by Members of Parliament and heavily attended by relevant political figures from Prime Ministers like Boris Johnson to Secretaries of State such as Maggie Throup, Michael Gove or Harriet Harman.

I make sure to capture all the key moments of the Gala, speeches, performances, awards, auctions as well as the venue decor.

I always dress appropriately to blend in with the event’s dress code to remain unobtrusive but I will also when or if needed I will interact with the guest always friendly but remain professional.

My main approach is candid photography but if needed I am also happy to stage and organise some posed photographs.

A particular highlight of my Gala Dinner photography includes The Princes Trust at The Lancaster Ballroom at The Savoy with His Majesty the King Charles III addressing the guests.

Dinners

I have attended and photographed many private dinners for the Argentinian Ambassador in the UK, as well as for luxury brands such as Asprey. Other dinners include the Foreign Policy Think Tank at Chatham House, with guests including Prime Ministers and members of the Royal Family.

When photographing a dinner event I will capture guests in conversation at the dinner table but I will equally give them space so they can enjoy their meal, nobody looks good while eating let’s face it! If there are toasts and speeches I make sure I capture those as well as the guests’ reactions.

I capture the ambient light making sure my photography reflects the atmosphere of the dinner event without relying too heavily on flash. I’ll pictures of the food served as well as any specific venue decor wide and close up.

Parties
My party event photography aims to capture the people’s emotions, and the fun that was had at the occasion. Thinking on energetic, vibrant and powerful images, you are in the right place because that is what I will capture!

I have photographed parties of all sizes, from Christmas parties at The Freemasons’ Hall for Thompson Reuters to the closing ceremony of the Olympics 2012 where I was at the top of the AcerlorMittal Orbit capturing the firework display – that was a career moment!

What type of events & conferences do you photograph?

With over 20 years of experience as a professional photographer, I have captured all sorts of events! From Royal Engagements to small intimate events, large-scale international conferences with thousands of delegates and multiple streams, to a small lecture or a fire-side chat with a Q&A. A big Awards seated dinner under the Chandeliers of Grosvenor House? I am all yours! I specialise in B2B and corporate events.

How much does your event photography cost, and is editing included?
Every event and every client is different, so to get an accurate quote, it is best to get in touch. If you have a budget in mind, it is also good to let me know so I can tailor my services and give you options within that budget. The fee includes the selection, and basic editing of event images—colour correction, lighting adjustments, cropping—but anything else will be charged extra.

Do you charge travel expenses?
I don’t charge travel expenses if your event is in London until 10 pm – unless I have to carry additional equipment for your event, in which case I will need a taxi. I am strong but sensible too! If your event goes past 10pm I will take a taxi for safety reasons. If your event is outside London, I will charge the train fares and taxi fares that I need to reach your venue, but all this information will be given to you in an estimate before booking. I am afraid I don’t drive!
Are you insured?
I am fully insured, including public liability up to £5 million.
What happens if your camera has a technical glitch during the event/conference?
That is not a problem! I carry backups for every eventuality with me to every event, and I have doubles of pretty much everything! I photograph events with two cameras, and I have a suitcase full of lenses, flashes, and plenty of charged batteries, so technology won’t let us down!
How many pictures will I receive?
Every event is different. On average, an hour of shooting will generate 60 to 70 final edits—yes, you will see me shooting lots of pictures on the day, but you won’t need the light-testing pictures, the blinks, or the unflattering ones!
When will we be expecting the photographs to be delivered?
This is something that we will discuss in your enquiry. Usually included in the final fee is a 72-hour turnaround (Monday to Friday). However, sometimes it might take longer depending on the complexity of the event. Included in the final fee, I can edit a handful of highlights of the event straight after for those urgent social posts!

I can also provide pictures during your event, so you can update your social media channels as the event is happening at an additional cost.

When will we be expecting the photographs to be delivered?

How will you deliver the images?
Images will be supplied as high-resolution jpegs via a shareable, password-protected online gallery.
How do we book you?

First, get in touch, providing your date, location, and time of your shoot, so I can confirm my availability. Then we can discuss your brief and I will provide you with a quote. To secure the date I take a 25% deposit of the final fee, then the remaining fee is due on completion of the booking.

What happens if you get ill?
Touch wood, this has never happened to me in 20 years, but we are only human! If, for any unforeseen circumstance or illness, I cannot attend your event, I have an excellent network of professional event photographers who will be ready to step in if needed!
Can you do headshot photography at our event/ conference?

With LinkedIn and the online world, there is more than ever a need for a high-quality headshot, and I also specialise in headshot photography.

I can set up my portable professional headshot studio pretty much anywhere, but if I am busy photographing your event/conference, I can’t simultaneously take headshots. In these instances, I bring with me an associate who can take care of this while I capture your event.

Do you produce video content?

I work closely with videographers, so I can always recommend one of my very trusted colleagues to join the project.
